Update 3-06-2006: Hi Carol and All: Ayla’s tail sprung up when she walked into the house the first time Saturday and it hasn’t gone down since! She’s really doing well. We went for a nice long walk that afternoon and she didn’t pull on the leash at all, either she was heeling or hiding behind me as we were walking. Whatever it was she was having fun, so we walked again Sunday for more than 2 miles. She worked up quite an appetite, and quickly let me know she prefers grilled chicken to Pedigree . . . Shadow’s being very patient and gentle with her. Every once in awhile he gets this look on his face and lets out a huge sigh, rolls his eyes and lays his head on his paws when she gets a burst of puppy energy. I’ve reminded him a couple of times he was that age once too! Thanks so much for the unconditional kindness, generosity and care you are giving to these animals and for saving their lives, especially Ayla’s. She will have a long and happy life here. |
