Roxy is a small/medium Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix that was brought to us by a past adopter in December '03.  She was a stray that was being kicked and beaten by the kids down the street from this lady's house.  Her rescuer knew that she would be safe with us until a good home could be found for her.

Carson is a beautiful Blue Merle Australian Shepherd with one blue eye.  He came to live at the Sanctuary in August '04.

Both of these sweet angels have now been adopted into the same family.  The original application was to adopt Roxy but when the people came out to meet their new furkid, Carson made such an impression on "Dad" that they adopted him too.  Roxy & Carson have a great home & we look forward to many updates & lots of new pictures soon.  Below are pics of them getting ready to go home.
