Grizzly came to ANIMAL ANGELS in late summer of 2000. He was accompanied by Bobby, a Heeler X. Their guardian, an old man, had been found in his truck in Oklahoma. He had been murdered. He had been reported missing in July but his body wasn't found until September. They had no one to care for them in all that time. There were also a couple of horses. The daughter of the man contacted a friend of mine to see if she could take the horses and my friend arranged for me to take Grizzly and Bobby. That's the last anyone heard of the daughter. Although Bobby was already neutered, Grizzly was not so we got him fixed and got both of them current on their vaccinations.

Grizzly is an old Akita. He has to be the sweetest, most loving old guy in this world. You would never know he's older because he loves to play. He will prance around, raising his right paw as if to give you a "high five".  He likes to spend hot summer days in his "swimming pool".  Every now and then when the weather is cooler, he does seem to have a little bit of a "hitch in his getalong", but other than that, he's hale and hearty. The people that love Akita's are special people indeed and I would love to find one of you to give Grizzly a place at you hearth and in your heart for the rest of his life
