Have you ever thought about putting together a neighborhood garage sale or a church/school bake sale or maybe a car wash & donating the proceeds to a charity of your choice?  Many good ideas for fundraisers can be found on the Humane Fundraising Website at  http://humanefundraising.com:80/

Animal Angels would be very appreciative of your fundraising efforts  & the $$ that you are able to contribute toward the care of the animals at the Sanctuary.  Almost daily we are called upon to rescue animals from places where they have been abandoned with no food or water, or from where they have been dumped on the side of the road, often after they have been injured by passing cars & trucks.   We always answer these calls for help to the best of our ability but it is a given that most of these animals will need medical care & often it is emergency, life saving care that they need.  Our vets do give us a small discount on services but the cost is still very high.  In addition, our animals require 300-350 lbs of good quality food PER DAY to keep them well fed & healthy.   Even at wholesale prices, this comprises a huge part of our monthly expenses.

Things You Can Do To Help

  Convert your Credit Card "Rewards" or "Points" to Home Depot or Lowe's Gift Cards ... we always have ongoing construction & repairs which need to be done & your donation of these gift cards will help us to purchase the materials needed for these projects.

Become a regular monthly contributor ... just put us in your stack of monthly payouts and send a check each month as you pay your bills.  Budget us in for whatever you can afford .. we greatly appreciate all donations, whatever the amount.  It all adds up to benefit the animals.

  Collect items from our wish list  from your friends, in your neighborhood & at your workplace.  Especially needed are linens & towels for bedding,  Igloo type (insulated) dog houses with floors, stainless steel or non-porous, non-tip food dishes, very durable toys for BIG dogs.  Of course, MONEY is always appreciated.

   Hold a Garage Sale .. and donate the proceeds to Animal Angels.  We will be happy to furnish a tax receipt for the amount donated.

  Link your Tom Thumb REWARD CARD to # 9766 ... and your purchases will be credited to our account.  Tom Thumb will pay us a percentage of our account total, so be sure to use your card every time you shop.

  Bequests & Beneficiary designations .. the gift that gives after you are gone.  Simply name Animal Angels as a beneficiary of your Will, Trust, Life Insurance or other financial asset.  Contact our office for our Federal ID number to include in your designation.  Your tax advisor can help you make the decision most beneficial to your financial position.

Flea & Tick Season is Here

We URGENTLY need topical flea & tick preventative in the large & extra-large dog sizes.  Bio-Spot, Frontline, Advantage .. all are good as are several other brands too numerous to mention.  When you go to Petsmart or Petco to purchase this treatment for your own pet, why not donate a treatment to a country cousin in your pet's name.  Our Angels will appreciate your thoughtful donation & will be able to enjoy a flea-free summer because of your generosity.  Gift Cards for your donated amount or packages may be mailed to Animal Angels, P.O.
