Kasha

Kasha (then called K-2) came to us in November, 2004.  She had been on her own for a while from all indications.  She needed a lot of TLC & some good nutrition but she soon recovered & was ready for adoption.

Kasha & Tundra,
her new brother

Hi - I'm Kasha

Life is good

Update from her new Mom & Dad 1-08-2005:

Hi Carole.

Kasha (aka "K2") and Tundra did just fine.  We went to dinner with the neighbors and were gone for a couple of hours Friday night. When we got back, all was quiet in the backyard, and Kasha was laying on the deck chewing a rawhide bone. Tundra was walking around near her, but wouldn't even look at her (and I am certain he was having thoughts of getting the rawhide away from her). Musta been something she said to him!

These two make a fine looking pair, too. I think all will work out just fine. Kasha seems happy and is adjusting well.  Here's our pic of Kasha, taken this morning:  (see bottom photo left above)

Update 1-19-2005:

Hi Carole...

I thought you'd be interested in knowing that Kasha (fka "K-2") is doing very well and adapting nicely. She and Tundra are real buddies now, and we find them curled up together when the weather's brisk. I'm trying to teach Kasha to go inside her doghouse to get out of the cold, but she just doesn't get it (or maybe it's ME who doesn't get it??).

Kathy & Andrew

We look forward to many more pictures & happy updates about this sweet girl.
