Be it known that the intent and purpose of ANIMAL ANGELS is to enrich the lives of our animal friends who may be without shelter, food, care or love. We commit to these needy, regardless of age, natural beauty or condition, and find them temporary and permanent homes.

Any resources obtained by ANIMAL ANGELS will be used for the benefit of these creatures only and no profit is sought except the comfort of the animals we assist.

Since our move to our present location in Jack County, Texas, we hope to be able to expand our sanctuary. Needless to say we must keep in mind that we cannot overextend ourselves. Presently, there are only two of us to do all the physical labor with occasional help on weekends. Also, since we operate on a very small scale as far as funding goes. We can only do what we have the money for. Our main output of funds is toward spaying and neutering. Since we have become more of a sanctuary, we have many older animals whose physical conditions are deteriorating and may require medical attention. We will not allow an animal to suffer. When it becomes apparent that their quality of life is no longer what it was and there is no hope for them to recover, of course, we allow them a peaceful crossing. We also provide for those that are not able to live within a family. While they are not feral, they prefer the company of other dogs and as anyone that has had animals well knows, accidents happen thus requiring medical aid and a visit to the vet.

We also try to provide a rescue service to those animals found on the roads that have become fearful of humans and require special means of catching them. We have the equipment needed to execute these captures and then provide whatever help the animal needs. They are either brought here or sent to one of the other groups that specialize in adoptions.
