Friends/Family, 

“Tula” has joined our family, rescued from a Texas animal shelter… she is the same mix as “Latte” (Australian Shepherd / Retriever) … the new sisters are great friends and love to go everywhere together! We spotted her on www.petfinder.com just like we found Latte-we will never go anywhere else for a pet. Tula was rescued from being euthanized along with her brother by an Animal Cop who took pity on them. Shelters/rescues are SO full that even adorable puppies are getting “put down” daily-it is so important we adopt & financially support them! Off on a tangent… J Anyway, this animal cop drove around TX until he found a shelter that would take them in. She bounced between a couple locations before we tracked her down on petfinder.com. – her profile matched Latte’s so we decided to apply as prospective parents.   

We couldn’t have asked for a better match for our family. She is no trouble & Latte is doing a great job training her! She is very independent, letting herself in and out of the doggie door! At night she sleeps quietly curled up to Latte. As needed, Tula will happily go in her kennel and snooze until I get home- Latte lays right next to her. What angels! Tula starts Puppy Kindergarten classes at the Canine Learning Center this Wednesday evening from 7-8pm… she will be the top in her class J  

“Tula” arrived first class on an American Airlines flight on Wednesday, Sept. 20^th … she is 4 months old. We decided to get a second dog as a companion for “Latte”…now we know it was the perfect decision!
