12-05-2005 UPDATE:
Carole - Once I got home, I settled and named my baby Angelina ( Angie
for short). I figured Nazzer was too masculine and she is a girl.
She has been good. She has not had one accident since we have been home
and she sleeps all through the nite in my bed along with Taki. She
does bark when I leave, I think she might have some anxiety due to the
newness of everything. I will take and send some pics to you soon.
11-29-2005: Recently we got a message that a family was having to
move out of state & that they were not going to be able to provi This was a plea like so many we hear about a dog like so many we already have at the Sanctuary. Heelers/Cattle Dogs are fairly common in our part of the country & are second only to Lab-Xs in the numbers we have in residence. We made room for one more & Nazzer's family brought her out to us. Later that weekend, a staunch supporter brought a friend out to look for a companion to adopt. He saw Nazzer & they immediately took to each other. Angie (Angelina) now has a new home & a new doting Dad to look out for her. We expect to get updates & new pictures soon & will post them as we get them. |
