Billie Jean Happy Tails page

2006-6-07 - Billie Jean has moved to a whole new life with one of Carole's long-time friends. She has a new name & a home for as long as she lives. Updates & new pictures of BJ will be posted here as soon as her Mom sends them to us.

It is hard to believe that this beautiful girl on the left is the same little waif that is pictured below. The power of LOVE & God's Blessings do work miracles.

Billie jean is a sweet little Chihuahua mix who came to the Sanctuary when her person died. She settled in nicely & we expected her to be with us for the rest of her natural life because she has a deformed front leg & most people just don't want a physically challenged pet.

One day in Sept., 2004, we had an inquiry about her from a lady in Brownwood who felt that she & Billie Jean would do well together. Arrangements were completed & Billie Jean went to live with her new "mom" .. and did very well together. Unfortunately, in March, 2005, sweet little Billie Jean was returned to the Sanctuary. Her "Mom" had to move to an assisted living complex & pets were not allowed. Billie Jean misses her mom but she is adjusting to being with all her canine friends again. She hopes another nice lady will decide that she is a special girl & will take her home so she will again have her own special lap to sit on.

5-09-2005 - Billie Jean has come back home to the Sanctuary. Her new Mom is very ill & her new Dad feels that he just won't be able to give her the attention she deserves. Our prayers are with them for a swift & complete recovery.

4-26-2005 - Billie Jean has been ADOPTED again!! Just one look at this picture & you can tell that our sweet little girl has a new home & a "daddy" to whisper sweet nuthins in her ear. We look forward to getting many happy updates from her new family & will post them here.

Our very best wishes go to these wonderful people who have taken Billie Jean in to their hearts & home. May they all be blessed with many years of health & happiness together.
