UPDATE - 6/28/2004 ....BINGO is alive and
well - being a typical puppy. Fortunately I work out of the
house, so someone is here with him most of the time. Still had a large
Pet Porter kennel in the garage, so we use that when we both have to
leave him. He gets along well with the other dogs, Katy the 14 year old
female lab/greyhound asserts her Alpha Female status around the house
and they pretty much leave each other alone. Buckles the 130# St
Bernard/Great Pyrenees plays with him a little bit with no
confrontation. I think Buckles is a little jealous of another dog
getting attention, but I am sure he will overcome it. They all get
attention in our dog house, they let us Bingo seems to be a very gentle, loving dog. He seems to want to please which makes me feel he will train easily. Also, I think he will fill the gap we lost with Rocky of having a semi-protective animal in the house. He barks enough to let us know something is going on outside the house, even barks at other dogs on TV, but calms down quickly when we let him know it is OK. We do not expect him to be really aggressive, but was not looking for that. He is great with the rest of the grandkids, the twins at 5 and other grandson at 7 came over Saturday and Sunday and Bingo loved playing with them and the extra attention. Bingo seems to love the yard, lots of room to roam. He is fascinated with the swimming pool, just stares at it, not sure what it is, other than a large water bowl. Take care & thanks, Mark, Cathy, Katy, Buckles & Bingo
