Update -
10-17-2005:
Hi Carole,
Casey is learning how to behave in a house!!!! I take her outside often
and she has figured out that that's when she's supposed to go. She
doesn't ask to go out, yet....but she's so smart I think it'll be
something she will be able to do in the not too distant future. Wolf
goes to the door and makes a growly noise when he wants to go out, so
she will figure out what he's doing and probably copy him.
She
doesn't jump on the furniture or the bed anymore. Larry took her out
this morning and when she came back in she came charging down the hall
and into the bedroom to get me up....just the wet front paws on the
bed.....She's so excited to start her day and wants everybody else to be
up and starting their day as well. She doesn't under-stand why a cat
gets to be on the bed and she can't. She's come a long way......with
time and patience, she's going to be a wonderful pet.

Casey is ADOPTED!!
Sweet Casey has gone
to what we hope is her permanent home. Her new family lives right
on a lake with water access from the yard. She will also have a
3-yr old canine "sibling" to keep her company, teach her how to play
ball & help to wear of all her pent-up energy. We wish them all
the best & look forward to updates & pictures from Casey & her new
family soon.
~ * ~ * ~
Casey
came to us after her family decided that she was just too energetic for
them & their kids. She is a beautiful girl with lots of energy & a
tendency to find ways to amuse herself when she is bored. She
loves water & will swim or splash whenever she can. Casey is a
very special girl with a lot of love to give to the lucky person who
accepts her for who she is.
