Chevelle's Happy Tails page

Chevelle is 1 of 3 young females whose owner just drove up the road to the Sanctuary one day & said "here - you take 'um." Chevelle is about a year old, loving & playful. She always has a "happy face" on .. like she is smiling all the time.

Chevelle had her bags packed & was patiently waiting for her Special Person to find her. It was only a few weeks until a very special little girl chose Chevelle to be her cherished companion. We hope they will bring years of mutual love & happiness to each other as Chevelle takes her place in this wonderful family. Pictures of her new family are here.

Hi Carole,

Just wanted to update you on Chevy. She is doing fantastic!! We love her so much and I do believe she is a spoiled as a dog can be. We laugh that we should have called her "licker" because she always wants to lick your face! A lot of my children's friends really adore her, in fact, one friend in particular said that if we ever did not want her, she wanted first dibs on her! Chevy has to be the sweetest dog I have ever had the privilege of having live with us. She jumps (well she really bounces) up onto the bed and then proceeds to only jump half way over you and lay down on top of you until you pet her and let her lick your face.

Thank you for saving such a wonderful dog, so that we could have her and love her at our home.
