Daisy came to the Sanctuary from an area kill-shelter where her time was about up.  She is a sweet little Chihuahua-X who had seen her share of hard knocks.  We are so happy to report that this little Miss now has a wonderful home of her own & a Very Special Person to care for her.  We got the update below from her new family:

UPDATE 7-27-2005:

Hi Carole,

Just wanted to let you know that Daisy is settling in just great with my other babies.  She has taken up with my oldest daughter Jeci or Jessica.  So she sleeps with her.  She is starting to run a little bit with Scooter now that she is getting to know him.  They didn't like each other at first, but now they love each other.  I was wondering I am going to put a special page with dogs done in plastic canvas.  I make my own pictures in plastic canvas, why don't you take a look.  Anyway, I thought maybe I could put your link to your web page on my website.  Well, let me know.  I only have one for now and that is Sunny, but I plan to do more.  I am working on some fairies right now.  Well, just wanted to let you know how she is.  You have a great day.

This is a picture of Daisy & her 2 new canine brothers, Sonny & Scooter getting ready to go home.  We look forward to many more pictures & updates in the months & years ahead.  We'll post them here as we receive them.
