Diamond Girl came to the Sanctuary as a stray in the Spring of 2003.  She was so sweet & easy-tempered that we knew one day her Special Person would come along & fall in love with her.  We treated her for Heartworms & did all the things that needed doing to be sure she would be ready when that day came.

Diamond Girl went to her "furever home" in January, 2005.  Her new Mom had visited with her about 10 days before but just wasn't sure.  Adopting a new family member is a big commitment & she wanted to be sure that Diamond Girl was THE ONE.   They thought about her & looked at some others but Diamond was the one that stayed in their minds.  So, Diamond packed her bags & went to live in the wonderful home with the people who will love & cherish her as the family member she deserves to be.
