In Memoriam ...
At the end of the Rainbow Bridge there is a Peaceful Valley
where our beloved pets who have gone before wait for us.
Someday we will be together again.

Einstein

Einstein was apparently dumped along a north Texas highway in Jack County, where he was seen by several neighboring ranchers over the course of about 3 weeks.  We set traps for him & neighbors tried to catch him but he was content to accept food but keep his distance.  He managed to dodge coyotes & highway traffic until he was finally lured up to a neighbor & caught.  He was the sweetest little boy you would ever want to have snuggle on your lap.  We named him Einstein because of his wild look & because of the intelligence he demonstrated while living on his own.

Einstein's lineage was never fully determined.  He was suggested to be Yorkie & Poodle, Pomeranian, Long Haired Chihuahua, Pekingese, Lhasa Apso or maybe even a Chinese Crested dog.  Whatever he was, he was the best of the lot.

It took a very special person to adopt this sweet guy, but one day in February, '03, that very special lady came along & little Einstein went to his new home, along with a sweet little girl named Julie.

Einstein had 14 wonderful months with his new mom.  He was an avid snuggler & his mom was always there to give him belly rubs & hold him tight.

One day Einstein went to sleep & just didn't wake up.  He had a heart valve problem & it failed while he slept, allowing him to cross the Rainbow Bridge.  He is very much missed by his mom & Julie but they will all be together again someday.

Sweet dreams, little angel ...
