Emily was the Sponsored Angel of Von, a gift from Colleen.  Emily's past life experiences had left her so traumatized that she was very distrustful of humans & therefore unadoptable.  She was content to spend her days basking in the sunshine, away from the center of activity.

Emily had lived a comfortable life at the Sanctuary for many years but as 2004 came into Winter, it became apparent that her health was failing fast & that there would be no miracle recovery.  On December 5, 2004, our sweet Emily was gently & humanely helped across the Rainbow Bridge, surrounded by the people who had cared for her & loved her for many years.
