In Memoriam ... At the end of the Rainbow Bridge there is a Peaceful Valley where our beloved pets who have gone before wait for us. Someday we will be together again.

Kody was born December 24th, 2005, in Clovis, New Mexico. On March 10th, 2006, Eddie & I drove to Lubbock, Texas, because the following morning we were to get our new puppy. It was one month to the day after the loss of Mikey. We were told the puppy's name was Gizmo. After putting our eyes on him we knew he was not a Gizmo. We tossed a few names around. Of course, everything related to Christmas since he was born on Christmas Eve. Then we thought about Lubbock. NO! After we stopped at the first rest area we realized that he was a Kodak moment, one second after the other. So, his name is Kodak, Kody for short. He gained other names over time - Bug-a-Boo, Kody-o-d-o-d-o-d-o. We also called him our Junk Yard dog. He got that because he never wanted to come in from the yard, always hiding so he wouldn't have to come in the house. We always said he never realized he was a Maltese. I can go on forever because he sure gave us a lot to share during his short time we were blessed to have him. Kody made this earth his playground and he used it to the fullest, from the minute the alarm clock sounded in the morning to the second he went to sleep at night. Kody will be forever missed. Thanks, Buddy, for all the joy you gave us. Love your Daddies, Mike and Eddie & your playmates, Ruby, Bob and Kitzl |
