In Memoriam ...
At the end of the Rainbow Bridge there is a Peaceful Valley where our beloved pets who have gone before wait for us.
Someday we will be together again.

Several years ago, we got a call from a lady
who was having to uproot her It would be one of the best decisions I would ever make. What a gentle soul this magnificent dog had. He had a lot of gray around his muzzle but he was frisky and romped with the younger dog. He was a joy to have around. One day, I got a call from this nice lady saying that she had gotten settled and Lazlow could come home. You can’t imagine how good that was to hear. More often than not, once people bring us a dog, for whatever reason, they forget them. This was a first. We made arrangements to meet and a few days later, Lazlow and I headed to Houston. Since she lived way on the other side of Houston, we met on the north side of town at a shopping center. You’ve never seen a happier old dog in your life when he saw his mistress. He acted like a puppy. The lady was as happy as he was. It was the happiest homecoming ever. Today, May 24, 2004, I received the sad news that Lazlow had passed away. He will be missed by his family and by those of us whose life he touched. |
