Lucky came to the Sanctuary several months ago because he just wasn't doing very well in the "getting adopted" department.  This sweet boy had already spent many months in an area shelter waiting patiently for someone to adopt him.  He hated to be crated & didn't like all the noise & fuss of so many people being around, looking at him & the others who were hoping to get good new homes.  He wasn't happy & he was a disruption at the adoption events.  For his own good, it was decided that he would do better in a more relaxed setting.

The hope & dream we have for every one of our Angels is that there will come a time when their Special Person will find them & take them home.  That dream has come true for Lucky. 

His very Special Person is a young lady who has experienced the love of a wonderful pet & the loss of that pet due to old age.  When she & Lucky first saw each other, it was a mutual feeling of closeness .. Lucky went straight to her as if he knew that she was his .. the Special Person he had waited for all this time.
