Update
2-22-2005:
Good morning. Just a note to say thanks again
for putting Bentley and me together with Sophie. We had a wonderful
weekend. They are doing great together and I am enjoying both of them
very much. She is definitely feeling better. She is acting a little
more spry Update 3-31-2005: Just wanted to send a note to let you know that our Sophie has fully recovered from her surgery and is happy and playful. She and Bentley run and play in the yard. I was sitting on the patio last night and they just ran and ran playing chase. Sophie is terrified of thunder and lightening. If a storm comes up during the day she goes through the doggie door and hides in the laundry room. If it is at night she sleeps with me. Bentley is not afraid at all. I am hoping that she will learn from him that there is no reason to be afraid. (wishful thinking?) Sophie's fur is looking great. All shiny now. Our vet, Dr. Sharpe, says she is in fine shape. If I sit in the recliner at
night to watch a little TV Sophie climbs up into my lap and makes herself
comfortable. She is content to lie there just as long as I can stay there.
We are a happy family. Some mornings when I go into the kitchen to make
coffee, I find Bentley and Sophie laying on the same blanket. |
