YoYo is a beautiful long-hair Chihuahua. He is about 2 yrs. old, fully
housetrained & a wonderful bundle of energy. YoYo
needed
to go to an all-adult family as his prior experiences with small children
were much less than desirable & he now has fear issues with small
children. He loves to play with his toys & give doggie kisses.
We felt that YoYo would be a great companion for a retired person or an
older couple with lots of time & TLC to lavish on him. On Jan 09,
2005, that very special couple took him home. From the reports that
we are getting, it seems that this is a perfect match for all concerned.
Update
1-15-2005:
Dear Carole,
Well, it has been only a week since we contacted you about Yoyo and all I
can say is that he has brought us so much joy. He packed his bags quickly
to come to us and unpacked just as fast when he got here. He is
wonderful!! He is completely housetrained which is an added bonus. He
loves to run around the backyard at full speed and really seems to enjoy
showing off for us. He mastered the "stairway to heaven" and has
slept with me since the first night. I forgot about our only other pet...a
30 year old parrot that stays in his cage. (It is up high on a dresser) He
has been with us for 27 years and isn't tame. But - he has
five different barks from the different dogs that we had in the past. Yoyo
at first kept looking all around as if he thought that other dogs were in
the house because the bird would bark when he saw him. I picked Yoyo
up and showed him the bird in the cage and he cocked his head as if he was
thinking, " I've never seen a dog like that before." Thank you so
much for picking us for Yoyo...If you ever get to Southwest Ft. Worth,
come by and see him. I am working on pictures to send to you and they will
come soon. I hope you are doing okay and have many more successful
adoptions.
Sincerely,
Sue

Update
2-06-2005:
Dear Carole,
It
is hard to believe that four weeks have already gone by since we adopted
our precious Yoyo. He is doing great! He does not like the rainy cold
weather any better than we do; but he is a trooper. He continues to go out
to do his business, no matter what the weather brings. He loves to run
around the backyard in the sunshine. He can really get those little short
legs moving, running in figure eights most of the time. We bought him a
carrier that fits across our chest so that he can take walks with us when
the weather is pretty. As you can see from the pictures, he has his own
recliner, pallet and a dishpan full of squeaky toys. He loves to play and
give kisses. We found a vet that we like and Yoyo liked him as well.
We had him tested for heart worms and continued the Revolution that Sandy
had him on and checked him over real good. He got a clean bill of health.
Thank you so much for picking us for Yoyo and he seems to feel the same.
Sue
